Downtown Travel Restrictions For Crane Removal

Work to disassemble the crane that has been part of the Depot Plaza Garage construction will result in downtown travel restrictions beginning at 6 a.m., on Monday, April 19, 2010. The travel restrictions will be in place 24 hours a day through 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2010.

Eastbound Toole Avenue (including center turn lane) will be closed to travel from Pennington Street to Fifth Avenue. Through travel will be allowed on westbound Toole Avenue, however, flagging personnel will be in place to intermittently stop travel for safety purposes.

Fifth Avenue will be closed to both northbound and southbound travel from the Hotel Congress parking lot to Toole Avenue. If there are any questions on the project, please contact Amy Cotner with Lloyd Construction at 471-2167.

The traveling public can expect delays when driving, bicycling or walking in this work area. Business access will be maintained. For your safety, please observe all traffic control signage, message boards, and obey reduced speed limits. Watch for construction personnel and equipment in the work zone.
