iPad Applications Focus On Gaming – Apple Inc (AAPL)

By Short Term Trading on 03/21/2010 – 10:00 am PDTOne Comment

It was quite expected.  Gaming is going to be a lot of fun on the iPad.

iPad Games Are Going To Be Crazy Awesome
The iPad’s big screen in particular is going to bring a new element of fun and possibilities to the iPhone gaming platform. Besides just having larger, more vivid graphics, and more pixels to use for game controls, the iPad will offer more multi-touch input sensors, therefore adding new control possibilities to iPad games.

Apple’s IPad Debut Is Unlikely to Outdo IPhone Start
The odds are stacked against Apple Inc.’s new iPad reaching sales of 1 million as quickly as the iPhone, an online bookmaker said.

The iPhone, which went on sale in June 2007, took 74 days to get to the 1 million mark. The iPad, a tablet device that debuts on April 3, has a 72 percent probability of taking longer than that

Apple fell $2.40 to $222.25 at 4 p.m. New York time in Nasdaq Stock Market trading. The shares have gained 5.5 percent this year. Not much with all the hype about the iPad launch.

  • Someone says:

    72%? Seriously?

iPhone was a new product selling only to the US.

iPad is a new product, but similar to an existing product that 10’s of millions have used. Hence its not entirely a new experience for users. iPad will also be sold to the world.

    1 million = easy.
