Wealthtrack – Where to find value in equities

By Prieur du Plessis on 03/28/2010 – 3:24 am PDTLeave a Comment

This week on Wealthtrack, Consuelo Mack sits down legendary global investor Bill Wilby and noted value investor Wally Weitz who share where they are finding lasting value.

Wilby, who was the award-winning portfolio manager of the Oppenheimer Global fund – rated the number one global equity fund for the dozen years he managed it – is now a private investor, and is still actively investing and plugged into the global investment scene.

Weitz is founder and President of Wallace R. Weitz and Company based in Omaha and manages or co-manages four stock funds with superb long-term and near-term records, although they had a rough go of it in 2007 and 2008.

Note: The transcript of this interview is not available yet, but will be posted here as soon as it arrives.
