Face to face with Anthony Bolton on China

Anthony Bolton, Fidelity International’s star stockpicker, tells FT’s Asia Markets Correspondent Robert Cookson that future growth in China will come from domestic consumption rather than exports.

Bolton’s China Special Situations Fund was launched in April amid a blaze of publicity and his bullish stance contrasts big-name investors such as Hugh Hendry, head of Eclectica Asset Management, and Marc Faber, author of The Gloom Boom & Doom Report, who are betting that the Chinese economy will crash.
